Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has confirmed the end of her relationship with NBA star Klay Thompson, citing infidelity as the reason for their breakup. The "Savage" singer took to Instagram Stories on Saturday, April 25, 2026, to air her frustrations, accusing Thompson of cheating and expressing her desire for a "real break."

In her Instagram posts, Megan wrote, “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house... got 'cold feet' Holding you down through all your horrible mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don't know if you can be 'monogamous'???? b----I need a real break after this one.. bye yall.”

Following her public statements, Megan confirmed the split to TMZ through a representative. "I've made the decision to end my relationship with Klay," the statement read. "Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there's no real path forward. I'm taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

The couple, who first sparked romance rumors in July 2025, made their public debut as a couple at a New York gala event last summer. Megan had previously released a song titled "Lover Girl" in October, which was inspired by her relationship with Thompson.

Thompson, a Dallas Mavericks guard, has not publicly commented on the breakup. His representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.
